Good workout. Did a long warmup, then did 2x1mile, 3x800. Miles went 5:49, 5:40. 800's were 2:48, 2:51, 2:38. I felt a lot better during the miles. But the 800's were bad because I started out too fast. The last I stayed relaxed and sped up and did a lot better. Then I did a long cooldown. I felt super good. It was just the perfect workout for where my fitness was. I am super happy. I stretched out really good.
I saw a girl from my grade as I was in the middle of my first mile she looked really surprised. I don't think she recognized me but just seeing a dude in short shorts sprinting towards you is probably a shock.
I'm gonna run a 5k on Saturday and try to go sub-18. I think I can do it.
